During his speech, Ganesh Naik emphasized Maharashtra’s commitment to increasing forest cover from 21% to 30%, aligning with the Central Forest Department’s vision. Ganesh Naik also outlined his vision for the Forest Department to be financially independent, reducing reliance on the state budget. He asserted confidence in achieving this goal through sustainable initiatives.
