Born at Bonkode village, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Even before turning 20 years of age, Ganesh Naik earned a name in his village and community for being a fiery youth activist.
Ganesh Naik won the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 1994 from Thane constituency with India’s highest victory margin of 1, 09, 001 votes.
Ganesh Naik served as Environment Minister in Government of Maharashtra. This was his debut as a Cabinet Minister in the state.
Ganesh Naik won Maharashtra Assembly Elections from Thane constituency with India’s highest victory margin 1, 18, 276 votes beating his own previous record.
After a hiatus of 5 years, Ganesh Naik won his second term as MLA and served as Excise, Environment & Non-Conventional Energy Minister in Government of Maharashtra.
In his consecutive term as Cabinet Minister, Ganesh Naik brought into effect policy decision and plans that grew revenue of the Excise Department from Rs. 1700 Crore to Rs. 4000 Crores.
