On March 14, NMMC began the public hearing process for the city's Development Plan. Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik today visited NMMC for the public hearing on his 245 objections/suggestions. Former MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik, Airoli's First MLA Sandeep Naik & Former Mayor Sagar Naik were also present to speak on their objections/suggestions on the proposed plan. Speaking to the media, Ganesh Naik said that NMMC should ensure that the development plan is all-inclusive. Dr. Sanjeev Naik called the DP plan incomplete as it doesn't include the residential pockets of the industrial areas.
