Maharashtra Forest Minister and Palghar Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik chaired important meetings with MLAs and Ministers to discuss major forest-related matters. Some of these included: Yeralawadi Dam Land: Minister Jaykumar Gore opposed transferring dam land to the Forest Dept., promoting eco-tourism instead. Latur Sports Complex: MLA Amit Deshmukh requested forest land in Murud Akola for the approved sports project. Dharashiv Wildlife Museum: MLA Rana Jagjit Singh proposed an international-level wildlife museum at Ramling Ghat Sanctuary. Mangrove & Marine Review: Ganesh Naik led a review of the Mangrove and Marine Biodiversity Conservation Authority's functioning.
