During his meet with NMMC Commissioner Abhijit Bangar, Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik discussed burning issues of the city, one of which was of water shortage. Ganesh Naik said that almost every node in Navi Mumbai was facing water shortage. He asked NMMC to ensure that patients get proper health facilities as diseases like malaria & dengue are on a rise. He suggested to develop an app for parents and students for purchase of uniforms and other educational materials to assist especially those belonging to economically weaker sections. He ordered enquiry against officials involved in the sale of MIDC plots that was handed over to NMMC. He also asked the administration to create welfare schemes for hawkers and beggars in the city.
