Ganesh Naik at NMMC: Unified DCPR, survey on hawkers, proposed DP & Top 5 issues
During his meet with NMMC Commissioner Abhijit Bangar, Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik discussed burning issues of the city, one of which was on Unified DCPR.
1. Ganesh Naik said, "Just like the concretized slums of Mumbai, Navi mumbai's open spaces will be wiped out".
2. Extend the deadline of inviting objections/suggestions for NMMC's proposed DP by 60 days.
3. Appoint teachers in NMMC-run schools
4. Demolish hotels permitted by MIDC on Thane Belapur service roads.
5. Conduct survey of city hawkers and allocate proper spaces for their business.
