CIDCO has reserved a 36 acres plot in Sector 12, 12A and 13 of Ghansoli for building a sports complex. However, the plot has not been handed over to NMMC. In his letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Dy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis & NMMC; Ganesh Naik has demanded that the plot be handed over to NMMC immediately so that sports stars and aspirants of Airoli constituency and across Navi Mumbai can have a sports complex of international standard.
