Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur was in Navi Mumbai to attend an event organised by “Himachal Mitra Mandal, Mumbai.” The event honoured achievers of Himachal Pradesh. In his address to the audience Anurag Thakur lauded former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik and said, “Naik Sahab has always stood by the people of Himachal Pradesh.” Ganesh Naik, Navi Mumbai’s only iconic Peoples’ Leader* is known for taking people from all states, caste, creed, religion along with him in the journey of Navi Mumbai. Anurag Thakur said, “Ganesh Naik has made people from across India feel at home in Navi Mumbai.”
