Ganesh Naik inspects Digha railway station; to take up issues, PAP jobs with Raosaheb Danve
One of the main aspects of the Airoli-Kalwa Elevated Corridor project is the construction of the Digha railway station. The station is being constructed by the Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation at a cost of Rs 110 crores. Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik visited the site to get a first hand report and address demands like parking, streetlights, jobs to PAPs among others. Present during the visit was also Former MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik and Airoli’s First MLA Sandeep Naik. Ganesh Naik informed that he would take the issues with Union Minister of State for Railways Raosabeb Danve in a meeting on March 3. Sanjeev Naik informed that he had been following up the development of the railway station since lockdown. The railway station was a demand that he had presented during his tenure as MP.
