Former Leader of the House in NMMC Ravindra Ithape and former corporator Surekha Ithape have set an example of public works in ward 100, Nerul. Known as the ward of gardens; his efforts have added more public amenities that were inaugurated at the hands of former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik & Belapur MLA Manda Mhatre. Late Lata Mangeshkar garden, selfie point at Navdurga Society & sounds barriers from Bhimashankar Society to cycle track were officially made public while bhumipujan was performed for repairing the road between Royal International School & Harbour View School. The dignitaries then joined the haldi kum kum organised for women of Nerul.
