Cheti Chand or Jhulelal Jayanti is an auspicious festival that is celebrated and observed by the members of the Sindhi community. For the Sindhi community the birth anniversary of Lord Jhulelal marks the New Year. In Navi Mumbai, a celebration was held in Nerul. Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik joined the celebrations. He lauded the role of the Sindhi community and their contributions to the development of Navi Mumbai.
