To mark the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Jayanti is celebrated with great fervour across the country. Also known as Guru Purab or Prakash Utsav, it is one of the most important festivals of the Sikh community. This year marks the 552nd birth anniversary celebrations. The Vashi Gurdwara, under the leadership of its President Tejinder Singh, organised a medical camp among other social initiatives. In a rare occurrence; former Minister & MLA Ganesh Naik, former MP Sanjeev Naik, former MLA Sandeep Naik & former Mayor Sagar Naik along with senior party workers attended the event. Ganesh Naik showered praises on Tejinder Singh's leadership and social service to community.
