Under Former Minister & MLA Ganesh Naik's leadership, Airoli's first MLA Sandeep Naik led STP plants' vision was launched when he was Standing Committee Chairman with view to protect environment. Back in 2016, during his tenure as MLA, Sandeep Naik had demanded the setup of the treatment plants at the state assembly. The Tertiary Plants now come with latest technology and higher capacity, involving water purification to the level that it can be used as drinking water. With this, Ganesh Naik once again has shown the country how not just public interest but even environment interest work are done.
