Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik took up the issue of Unified DCPR (Unified Development Control and Promotion Regulations in his meeting with NMMC this week. The Maharashtra govt's Unified DCPR came into effect in December 2020. The 397-page document of the new rules, comprehensively covers all aspects of infrastructure and real-estate development in the notified urban areas. Terming that the plan with destroy planning of MMRDA region, Ganesh Naik strongly opposed the same.
