Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik slammed NMMC officials for dereliction of duty during his meeting with NMMC Commissioner. Some of the main issues included completion of pre-monsoon work, water shortage, and appointing a dedicated officer to follow up on the approvals given during his meeting with CM Eknath Shinde among others. He stated that NMMC was only approving public works in selected wards, neglecting several other wards. Speaking to the media, Ganesh Naik hinted at protest if NMMC failed to carry out public works in the other nodes.
