Since December 2020, Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik has been demanding that if CIDCO can construct COVID hospitals in Mulund & spend in healthcare during COVID in Thane; then constructing a hospital for Navi Mumbai citizens at CIDCO's cost is the right of both the PAPs & Navi Mumbai citizens. He raised the demand with NMMC in December 2020, then during the budget session of 2021 & followed it up in the winter session of the state assembly. His demand for free plots for hospitals, CBSE schools in every node & public amenities along with balancing open spaces has been misconstrued. Here is a timeline of his demand with dates.
