Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik visited the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial to check on the status of work. 1) Speaking to the media he said that, "Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial is a concept of my vision that was approved by the NMMC General Body meeting and under the leadership of former Mayors Sudhakar Sonawane and J D Sutar it took off to where it is now." 2) He added that paying tributes to the late Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and profiling his life, work, journey and contributions to the nation for future generations has been the guiding force to build the memorial. 3) Ganesh Naik added, "The day this project is complete and full operational for public; I will have a sense of satisfaction."
