Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik took up several issues of Navi Mumbai at the ongoing winter session of the state assembly. He demanded, 1. Completing the access points of exit and entry to Airoli-Katai bridge as MMRDA had already given its approval. 2. Flyover connecting Navi Mumbai to Vikhroli to accommodate the booming industrial and commercial centres around the area. 3. Provide water supply from Bhira dam to Navi Mumbai to address water shortage. 4. Subway from Turbhe to Kharghar to tackle the traffic which is bound to increase after the completion of the Navi Mumbai Intl airport. 5. Re-establishing education committee in NMMC to a check on the educational policies and its implementation.
