Former corporator Suraj Patil organized a ‘Shani Jayanti’ program for devotees to pay ode to Lord Shani. Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik also graced the event to seek blessings of Lord Shani. Present along with him was former MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik and former Mayor Sagar Naik. 1.Suraj Patil has been organizing this program for the last 13 years. Devotees visit in large numbers and are also offered ‘Mahaprasad’. 2. Suraj Patil said that since the age of 16 he has been worshipping Lord Shani and prayed for peace and happiness for the people of Navi Mumbai on this pious day.
