Despite Morbe Dam filling to capacity with adequate rainfall last year in September; the NMMC's decision of water cuts has surprised and disappointed citizens. The issue has been raised by former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik who has written to NMMC to scrap its decision to do water cuts in the city. He has warned of a massive protest; if his demand is not met.
