State Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad had made controversial allegation stating that he had been witness to Shiv Sena manipulating ward boundaries & numbers in their favour during Thane civic polls. The same allegations are being made against Shiv Sena in Navi Mumbai. Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik has written to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshayari. Submitting the letter to the Governor in a meeting, former MLA Sandeep Naik has demanded an enquiry as the allegation has been made by a Minister of the same ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government.
