Many Ganpati mandals across the city met with Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik with their demand to remove the height restriction on Ganpati idols. 1. Representatives of these mandals including former corporator Sampat Shewale and social worker Vijay Walunj along with others met with Ganesh Naik and former MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik. 2. Ganesh Naik said that other cities have already removed the height restriction and NMMC Commissioner has assured that the same will be followed in Navi Mumbai.
