The issue of water shortage and increase in malaria and dengue reigned the meeting of Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik with NMMC Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar. Issues included, 1. Call for meeting of NMMC Health Dept to check why cases of malaria and dengue are rising. 2. Carry out audit to resolve the issue of water shortage. 3. Timely maintenance of gardens and playgrounds* which were neglected. 4. Ensure sufficient supply of medicines in NMMC hospitals. 5. Conduct survey and prepare a list on the number of slum dwellings on MIDC land.
