At his 64th meeting with the NMMC Commissioner, Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik took up burning issues of the city. Rajesh Narvekar is the third Commissioner that Ganesh Naik has been interacting with since his periodic meetings with NMMC began. Ganesh Naik ordered the administration to investigate those officers who released major tenders during the pandemic period under the pressure of “local dons.” He also asked NMMC to hold meetings with CIDCO to handover plots reserved for NMMC for public welfare. He ordered action against officers responsible for maintaining hospital equipments at COVID Centres, which were lying in waste today. He also ordered immediate hiring of teachers in not just CBSE but all municipal schools.
