Maha Monsoon Session: Ganesh Naik assures timely compensation for farmers affected by wildlife damage

During the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Monsoon Session 2025, MLA Shri Nanabhau Patole from the Sakoli constituency raised a concern during Question Hour regarding delays in compensation to farmers whose crops have been damaged by wild animals.

Responding to the concern, Forest Minister Ganesh Naik assured the House that instructions have been issued to senior Forest Department officials to ensure timely compensation to affected farmers. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting farmers’ interests through prompt and effective action.
