Maha Monsoon Session: Irregular constructions to be reviewed and corrected, says Forest Minister Ganesh Naik
During the 2025 Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra Legislature, Forest Minister Ganesh Naik responded to a calling attention notice raised by Thane Constituency MLA Shri Sanjay Kelkar regarding irregular construction activities being carried out arbitrarily by certain developers.
In his response, Ganesh Naik stated that an explanation is being sought regarding the special access granted from the highway to certain developers, which appears to reflect undue favoritism. He further informed the House that instructions have been given to the Assistant Director of Town Planning (ADTP) to thoroughly examine the matter. If any procedural lapses or violations are found, necessary corrections will be made without delay.
