Water shortage was one of the major woes of the residents of Shramik Nagar which receives water supply from MIDC. During Former Minister & MLA Ganesh Naik’s meetings at NMMC, former corporator Shashikant Bhoir had taken up the issue with NMMC Commissioner Abhijit Bangar. 1. Bringing much relief to the residents, Ganesh Naik performed the ground-breaking ceremony of laying new water pipelines from Rs 27 lakhs of his MLA funds. Also present with him were former corporator Shashikant Bhoir, Chandrakant Patil, Rajesh Shinde, Founder of Fakhir Panther Foundation Adv. Guru Suryavanshi, among others. 2. Apart from this, Rs 7 lakhs will be utilized from his MLA funds to install RCC gutters from Shramik Nagar entry gate to Hanuman mandir. 3. Ganesh Naik said that the new pipelines will supply water from Morbe dam to the residents solving the issue of water shortage in the area.
