PAPs across Navi Mumbai had united to protest against CIDCO demanding the Navi Mumbai International Airport be named after veteran PAP leader DB Patil who sacrificed his entire life for the welfare and upliftment of PAPs. The protest that was strongly led by Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik and Former MP Ramsheth Thakur along with MLA Prashant Thakur, Former MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik, Airoli’s First MLA Sandeep Naik and BJP Navi Mumbai has finally had its impact as the Maha Vikas Agadhi government has consented to give the airport DB Patil’s name. In his last address that went viral on social media, Ganesh Naik had said that very soon the first flight landing at the airport, the air hostess will say ‘Welcome to DB Patil International Airport.’ This prediction is all set to come true with this decision.
