Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik held his 75th meeting with NMMC Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar. This time the meeting was in the Standing Committee meeting hall. In the 7-hour long meeting, Ganesh Naik slammed the NMMC administration for failure to address some of the top public issues of Navi Mumbai. These primarily included receiving water from Barvi dam in MIDC, corruption in the appointment of 185 teachers in municipal schools, and recruitment of qualified doctors in municipal hospitals. Also present during the meeting was BJP Navi Mumbai President Sandeep Naik, who took the administration to task over the issues of access exit and entry points on the Airoli-Katai Elevated Road.
