A brainstorming meeting, led by Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik was held with Union Minister for Railways Raosaheb Danve to discuss Navi Mumbai Railways commuters' woes. Former MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik, Airoli's First MLA Sandeep Naik, CIDCO MD Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee and Central Railways DRM Rajneesh Goyal were also part of this meeting. Many crucial decision were taken on the demands presented by Ganesh Naik, some of which was renaming Digha railway station along with building an international standard railway station at Thane.
