In the Gulmohar water & power disconnection case; the matter escalated when former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik first reached the Vashi Police Station & then walked to Gulmohar Society to meet the residents and their advocate. Speaking to the media Ganesh Naik said that the NMMC officials had assured to wait until court’s order but sped up the action to disconnect water and power supply before the court order. He has asked NMMC to follow court order and law before forcing citizens out of their homes.
