Referring to the shocking incident where the slab of Jimmy Park society building collapsed, injuring several and killing one, Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik asked ward officers to step out of their offices and take stock of ground issues in their wards. 1. Ganesh Naik said that ward officers should personally inspect the pre-monsoon works, cleaning of nullahs and medical facilities for emergencies. 2. He added that ward officers should submit requests for structural audits of old and dilapidated buildings in their wards so that incidents like that of Jimmy park society can be averted.
