One of the biggest issues that Navi Mumbai faces is that of water cuts and water shortages. Taking up this burning peoples' issue, Former Minister & Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik held a meeting with NMMC and slammed them for failure to ensure adequate water supply to the city. Ganesh Naik said that it was unjust to divert water meant for the city while people face scarcity. On another issue, BJP Navi Mumbai President Sandeep Naik highlighted how MIDC must take responsibility for building citizen-centric facilities in its jurisdiction. Sandeep Naik also reiterated the safety lapses in NMMC hospitals, including the lack of a biomedical engineer.
